wavlink AX3000 ssid hidden issue

Hi everyone,

We recently purchased two WAVLINK AX3000 outdoor access points from Amazon and tried the following setup:

Device 1 is in AP mode.

Device 2 is in repeater mode, configured with a static IP.

We found that Device 2 only connects to Device 1 via WLAN when the SSIDs on Device 1 are not hidden. As soon as we hide the SSIDs on Device 1, Device 2 loses its connection to both Device 1 and the gateway.

We’d like to keep the SSID hidden for the WLAN between these two devices, but still have them connected. Has anyone encountered this before, or found a workaround? Any advice would be appreciated!
